Be a 1646 Volunteer!
Torrington 1646 reopens on 1st April 2010 for the summer season.
Those who have been to seen us at 1646 will know how much fun we have in the 17th Century, those that haven't, where have you been?
We are looking for volunteer characters to help entertain our visitors. Maybe help our visitors dress up in 17th century costume, talk about the herbs in our physic garden or possibly even a bit of surgery or some crime & punishment.
Whether you are a budding actor who wants to brush up on some ad-libbing skills, or maybe you are looking for something fun to do that benefits a local charity, please come and join us at Torrington 1646.
We can supply the costume, training and opportunity; we need you to bring your enthusiasm and sense of humour. So come and join our small friendly team, make new friends and have fun.
Please pop in and see us at Castle Hill in Great Torrington (main car park in South Street), or ring us on 01805 626146 - we would love to see you.
